MBCT - Level 1 2.2

Melodic Based Communication Therapy (M.B.C.T.) Level 1 is a research-backed intervention developed by a speech-language pathologist to support caregivers and therapists in aiding nonverbal and minimally verbal children (under 10 words) with autism in their journey towards language development. Although primarily aimed at children with autism spectrum disorder, this tool can also prove beneficial for young preverbal children looking to expand their vocabulary.

The application focuses on guiding children to articulate fundamental words commonly acquired through evidence-based melodies. It includes a selection of 25 melodies, each paired with colorful images, along with a valuable resource linking to M.B.C.T. research, a detailed overview of the intervention process, and a feature for monitoring progress.
